Student Facilities

On each campus, you will find the quiet space you need to focus on your studies.

Your student card will also be your library card and it will let you use our fantastic facilities and make the most of a huge range of resources. Along with books that help with every part of your curriculum, and space to study, you’ll find WiFi and PC drop-in areas in every library.

Hungry? You will find plenty of choice when it comes to places to eat, drink, and relax at Fife College. Whichever campus you’re at, you won’t be far from a range of delicious hot and cold food, quick snacks, and a thirst-quenching drinks.

All our campuses have a full refectory, serving hot and cold quality food including full meals, to-go bites, and snacks from morning until afternoon from our partners, Aramark. There are also convenient Costa Coffee shops at Dunfermline, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy offering your favourite speciality coffees and seasonal drinks, as well as sandwiches, soups, cakes, and pastries if you are looking for something on the go.

We also have popular student-run restaurants at Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth campuses which are a fantastic training environment for our Culinary Arts and Hospitality students. These restaurants provide valuable experience of producing dishes of the highest quality and standards and serving customers within a real industry environment. You should definitely pay them a visit, because not only is the food delicious, it is also excellent value for money! 

At our Kirkcaldy campus, our Sport and Fitness students benefit from first-rate fitness facilities: 

• Fully equipped gym (cardiovascular and resistance machinery, free-weight area and mat area) 

• Fitness classes 

• Fitness studio 

• Sports hall 

• Shower/changing facilities  

And remember – our gym is FREE to all students and staff from all campuses. This also includes free group fitness classes. Induction is £5 followed by a free membership! 

Our excellent Hair and Beauty Salons are commercially run, providing the perfect professional environment for students to relax, unwind and pamper themselves. Our salons are also open to the public and offer a wide variety of treatments at competitive prices.

Our first-class on-site facilities include our very own drama studios and even a performing arts theatre. Our Acting and Performance students put on several annual productions which are open to the public.

We also have a Youth Theatre for free, accessible workshops for young people aged 4-17.
